The Problem

To create a magazine to keep alumni and other members of The American School in Japan’s community in the loop of what’s going on at school and what members of the community are up to.

The Goal

To create a magazine to keep alumni, former parents, former faculty and staff, and other members of The American School in Japan’s community in the loop of what’s going on at school and what members of the community are up to.

Impact

Members of the community enjoy receiving The Ambassador. The school often receives comments from members of the community about how they enjoy reading about new developments and achievements in the community, seeing how their classmates are doing, and reading about upcoming events and reunions they can attend. The Ambassador has become a staple in community member’s houses, and can often be spotted on their coffee tables.

The Ambassador went on to win the Summit International Awards 2018, and later went on to win the Hermes Creative Awards 2021 as a Platinum Winner.
